We went to the Honolulu zoo in August. I have mixed feelings about trips to the zoo. On one hand I’m like “Ahh! Yay! Animals! Let’s go see them because they’re awesome,” and on the other hand, I get there, and I’m sad, “Awww, poor animals. They should be free to run around and be awesome.” Like the last photo? That makes my heart hurt. Ugh.

But— can we talk about how turtles are the cutest things ever?
